Final

Hero Sheet Comparison Sheet Ambient Occlusion

reposed and retextured?

I reposed him, he's a little more twisted and balanced. I retextured his stomach so that it is more representative of the belly of a crocodile. with larger yellow scales as opposed to the noisy blue scales. I added a bit more muscles/abs to fit with anatomy but I'm still not sure it's what you're looking for? He's floating, and doesn't have his sash in this render, but this is just to show the change's i've made

Progress: Remeshing

Keyshot render of what I have remeshed of my character. Right now he sits at around 25,000 polygons. Still working on the rest of him.

environment progress

I still have some rocks to upload into keyshot, but I got the paint effects to work in keyshot!! yay!!

environment reference

Inspiration I'm basing the planet he comes from off of the Arizona red rock structures with some desert shrubbery.

Environment

Here is my character posed in the environment I built, rendered in ZBrush. Here is most of my environment rendered in Keyshot, I still need to add the paint effects objs but I didn't want to upload them incase they were not correct in Zbrush (see next image). (I know I emailed you Grey, but I was still having trouble. I was able to get the texture from the maya content folder into zbrush, but it was still the flattened billboard texture/obj, and this is what I was having trouble uploading. I could find the image textures, I just was unable to get them to come in correctly in Zbrush. I will follow up on this with you tomorrow.)

Harry Styles Speed Sculpt (with reference photos) - 4/11

Character: Posed

This is my character reposed using the transpose tool. I still have to finish sculpting the deformed parts and updating my concept illustration. Knowing I'm going to have to keep resculpting, I didn't want to throw all the new OBJs into keyshot to upload the materials on so this is just a Zbrush render.

full texture render

I finished all the texturing on my character, but I was still having trouble with the bump and speculation on the scales. I made the spec map and a normal map and uploaded them to keyshot but they didn't seem to come through on the renders. It looks like theres some definition on the face and neck, but when you look at the arms they are completely smooth? I don't know what's going on with it.
